I love this tattling poster I found on Pinterest. I am going to add this as part of my classroom management system in hopes to reduce tattling. I am going to place a container near the poster and have post its near by so the students can write down what they want to say instead of interrupting the class. At the end of the day if they feel like its still important, I will let them pick 3 to read!

Interactive Notebooks

I started using interactive notebooks with my second graders last year and it was a life saver! My students loved being able to take responsibility for there own learning, and being able to interact with me and there classmates while learning.This year I will be using a combination of  two interactive notebooks for my reading journal (I will post the link below to there stores).
I will post pictures of my interactive journal from last year (eventually), but I have recently started working on my journal for this school year.

My New Blog

Hi, Welcome to my new blog! My name is Amanda and I am currently working on a blog to display and share ideas about teaching. Furthermore I want to display my classroom and my hard working students.
